In this print of an acrylic painting two elephants, a mother and her baby, walk across an African landscape. The sun is setting behind an Acacia tree and it produces a vivid yellow sky with a streak of intense orange and a pale mauve base. In the middle ground there is an array of hues including purple and dark brown and small shrubs and trees have been added for detail. In the foreground scratches into the surface of thick paint and drawn lines have been used to show the twigs and dried out shrubs of the dense bushland. The atmosphere is that of a scorching hot day that is now cooling and settling down.
