Winter Snow Hut shows a heavy snowfall that has just covered the cold ground. The air feels fresh but there is some warmth still in the sun that lights up the winter scene. A small lonely wooden hut sits alone in front of a forest of tall silver birches. A glow of red and green flows through the trees. This piece was painted with acrylics on Ampersand Claybord. Watery paint and etching techniques were used to show a variety of textures.
