A beautiful day, such as you only seem to get in the outer Hebrides, gave me the opportunity to make this oil sketch at Bosta. The sunshine & crystal clear Atlantic waters gave me the unusual challenge of trying to paint even the bottom of the sea, as I saw it from my slightly elevated position.
