Nosey is the first painting in the Herdwick Series. Herdwick Sheep are known as the smiley sheep and survive well in hilly, craggy areas due to their agility. Their woolly dense coats can withstand the worst of weather conditions and in the Lake District there is plenty of rain!
The first Herdwick I saw at at the top of a lakeland fell was Nosey. She appeared from behind a hill to investigate who was on her territory.
This limited edition Giclee print (run limited to 150) has been printed on archival paper using fade resistant inks achieving the highest quality both in colour match and likeness of my original oil on canvas board by Mike Shepherd, Photosynthesis, Lancaster.
The print is available unmounted and unframed and will be posted to you by Royal Mail track and signed for. Postage included in the price in the UK only.
