Soft Pastel on Pastelmat card, 30x24 cm. Depicts view from Sustenpass towards South and the High Alps (Sustenhorn, Tierberg, etc). Painted in layers, fixing each layer with water/alcohol mix, Final layer left untouched. A challenge to unify the rugged, mainly green foreground with the blue-salmon colours of the glacier and high peaks so as to avoid rendering two paintings in one. This was a studio study from an on-site oil also exhibited in this gallery. For sale-unframed.
