Oil on canvas, 50x40 cm. Depicts a modern sky i.e. high flying jets (High Flyers) invading the space of the ancient residents (the mountains) that have long been sessile. Painting submitted for an exhibition for the Guild of Swiss Alpine Painters with the theme "The Mountains over the course of time". Painted in studio from an on-site pastel painting. On hold until exhibition is held (October 2019, Biberist, Switzerland)
