Oil pastel on paper. Depicts the Anzac Gordon "Pop" Williams, a light horse cavalry veteran who fought for the British during the Boer War(1899-1901). Drawing made from a still of a Utube interview when Pop was aged 108!! He served in WW1 but ws turned down when he volunteered for WW2 at the age of 60. I felt the need to record the striking face of this rare warrior.
