Oil on mdf board, 18x24cm, signed lower LHC. Depicts Porthcurno Bay in Cornwall at hightide during a squall. The scene catches the undertow as the secondary wave tried to fight up the beach whilst encountering the drag of water (undertow) left by the preceding biggest wave (usually every 7-10th wave). Limited palette, painted from sketches on site and photo. Wonderful place!
