My last Tub was white with a pig in it. I know pigs like to be clean but the main purpose, in reality, was as a water trough for cows.
This painting captures the hot sunny weather in the countryside where I saw my first Tub. The idea of planting bulbs and vegetables, working in the garden, picking fruit, or pausing for a cup of tea are seasonal pastimes.
It is very reassuring, somethings never change!
