Tulips and Pussy Willows – Acrylic Painting on Paper
Tulips conjure up Spring, colour and a very familiar shape. I felt Pussy Willow would go hand in hand with this evocative composition.
I remember the Tulip fields in the distance were literally like strips of colour and strangely bizare.
Each Tulip composition I’ve painted has been completely different. I not only love the flower, but I love their round green stems. This bunch of Tulips tied together is reminiscent of a handmade bouquet, different in colour and tied with string, that I bought and loved many years ago.
