Roseanna Chetwood

Roseanna Chetwood specialises in capturing beloved pets on canvas. Her use of palette knives creates a bold, sculptural surface of thick paint. The result is a fresh and modern style of pet portrait. Roseanna graduated with a first class honours degree in Fine Art from the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design in 2013 and currently lives and works at her studio in High Wycombe. She has experience of running painting workshops in Birmingham, Maidenhead and Windsor.

"The real fun for me is playing with pushing and scraping the paint around on the canvas surface. Being able to see the construction of a painting and then stepping back to see the composition come together - that's the unique magic of a painting."
