A younger version of the 19th century author Jane Austen. She is depicted as an intelligent female, who spends her days being inquisitive about true life in Hampshire. She set the tone per generation not to be frivolous, but instead to build character. To have a character of depth, and knowledge requires resilience and fortitude. In order to set the tone for young women she writes, writes and so she writes about life as it was during the 19th century.
