Pharaoh Khufu Ship VS Viking Longship

The Ancient Egyptians traveled the River Nile for centuries, and used ships as funeral rituals to transport their dead bodies, as the Vikings did in their Longships. The Ancient Egyptians were the first to lay the foundation of transportation technology. However, this research is not to downplay any civilization. This research is to understand that technology, like the Khufu, and Viking Longship ships had to withstand harsh weather conditions like the hottest desert climate, to the coldest climate in the Arctic; to traveling through the most severe oceans during thunderstorms, Hurricanes, or Earthquakes. The Khufu Ship is considered the oldest vessel of antiquity, according to Reuters, it is a 4600 year old vessel, “The 4,600-year-old vessel, also known as the Solar Boat” - Reuters (2021).
