This portrait is based on myself and my daughter Annabelle, using Derwent Coloursoft pencils for their beautiful soft quality and blending, befitting the subject. I`ve tried to capture the unique intimacy between a mother and her child; the cherished moments of peace and quiet that are rare luxuries in our busy, modern lives.
