SOLD Acrylics on box canvas, with a painted, decorated edge, ready to hang.
The scene depicts a modern take on a famous Northern Irish landmark, Slemish, said to be a dormant volcano, and where our patron Saint Patrick is said to have looked after sheep. The colour scheme takes its inspiration from what Chileans call the "jamón/palta" combination, translated "ham/avocado"! Two very traditional toppings or fillings for their toast or sandwiches for breakfast or afternoon tea, which they call "onces". I lived in Chile for 9 years and my husband is from there, so it`s my second home! Nostalgia!
