After a career as a graphic designer and latterly as an advertising executive for a design company I moved to South West France 12 years ago. I work mainly in pastel always 'en plein air' or from a live model. Subjects tend to be local landscapes or townscapes and I try to work as quickly as possible to capture the light and retain the freshness and spontaneity.
