long time art lover, a lifetime of painting off and on. Since retirement and especially Covid lockdowns dedicated more of my time to the production of oil paintings. my subjects vary, landscapes, townscapes, portraits of family and friends. looking for the unusual and edging toward the abstract. My employment was in construction and teaching in colleges specifically. I come from the industrial north and see life accordingly. All of my children are now married and live their own lives, I now have some peace and opportunity to focus on art with my wife's loving support.
