Of all the bird species, baby barn owls have to be one of the most endearing. Their large round flat face and huge eyes filled with curiosity are surrounded by a mass of white fluff. What's not to adore? The challenge of this portrait was to capture the softness and texture of the facial details as well as the downy softness of the almost white fluffy cuddly body.
