Leonora De Lange

I am an award-winning South African artist, now residing in Scotland on a Global Talent Visa endorsed be the National Arts Council on the UK. I am a versatile artist working in various mediums and sizes ranging from miniatures to large paintings of 100 cm and larger. I draw my inspiration from my travels to various countries and photos I have taken in various locations and of various subjects. I also enjo9y plein air painting whenever possible.
Although I enjoy realistic or impressionistic painting, I also occasionally enjoy the challenge of creating abstracts, semi-abstracts, montages or just something different and creative.
I am also a miniaturist and have won several awards for my miniatures in South Africa, the USA, the UK and Bangladesh.
I have also won several awards for my larger works and have sold many works in various countries.
I Have been teaching adult art classes for the past 18 years and have been featured in a couple of art magazines and newspapers.
I have served on committees of carious rt societies as member, secretary and charlady.
