Louise Kydd

I studied Fine Art and graduated with a BA(Hons) specialising in painting. I mainly use oils on canvas but also enjoy acrylics because of their  immediacy. Whether I am painting a large abstract canvas or a more traditional landscape, portrait ,or still life I find the play of light particularly inspiring  with the way it can change the mood of a picture bringing  a sense of drama or vigour and enhancing or  subduing colour.  

I strive to make beautiful pictures to enhance and bring my experience to  an audience to witness  in a different time and space .
