Katarzyna Wolinska

I have spent half my life living in London, especially in my favourite district, Greenwich. Born in the 80s in the industrial city of Łódź, located in central Poland, I often feel drawn to creating intensely colourful landscapes or minimalist compositions. As I admit, my art reflects the greyness of my childhood, shaped by growing up in a colourless environment. It is my response to a youthful longing for colour—a desire born out of the monochrome reality of my early years.

Although I frequently paint with acrylics, I never limit myself to a single medium. I believe that true artistic expression requires both an open mind and an open heart. My acrylic paintings on canvas pay tribute to the symbolism of life and death, the passage of time, and the natural cycles that govern the world. Over the years, my works have found homes with private collectors across Europe.
