Aged 50 with two children, I live a happy and full life with a growing collection of artwork, grey hairs and wrinkles.Being thoroughly obsessed with drawing as a child, I was encouraged by my parents to study art through to A-levels and beyond. After 3 wonderful years at Middlesex University, I was thrust into the real world, clutching my 1st Class Hons Illustration degree & a portfolio of work. I have illustrated for many well known clients, including Ladybird, Dorling Kindersley, Harpercollins & Cassell under the name Karen Hiscock. Alongside that, I have worked as a part-time graphic designer for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service. I am now embarking on a new phase in my creative career under my new name...Karen H-King
running a successful art gallery in beautiful Broadstairs.
