JEFF SEEL

I am a retired Company Director who was always interested in watercolour painting but never had the time to do it. I started off my career as a draughtsman and was always interested and reasonably good at drawing but never did any painting. I have had no formal training but thought I would try to follow the guidelines of a recognised painter so I bought a CD and book by Alwyn Cranshaw. I was really interested in painting landscapes and seascapes but when a relation of mine asked me to do a painting of her dog I had a go a she and I were both very pleased. I have continued to draw and paint pets belonging to people that I know and I am really enjoying trying the get their likeness and characters. I am improving with each painting I complete and  my aim is do commissions for clients so that they will have something with which to remember their pets forever.
