originally sketched en plein air for the Pinta Rapido competition in acrylic , I re visited this floral scene in my studio and painted this version in oils. I was particularly interested in the contrast between the shade and the full sun hitting the lawn. In the background is part of kensington palace. Painted on canvas board and mounted in a floating frame.
