Always a painter of fine art. Lover of abstract semi realistic location work of nature and places with water as the inclusive theme throughout. Focus always with balancing the light. Recent exhibition focused on the Barking 's River Roding. Starting from the Barking's Barrage that defends the area from the unpredictable Tides of the Thames to within Barking’s wildlife borders along the River Roding. Shown here are my current paintings.
I am wishing to show a positive air of an area. Barking with its building developments along the river has an ever changing river line which I have wished to capture a piece of its natural remaining ethos .

I am a starting member of RAG ( the River Arts Group) We were fortunate to have a major exhibition in June 2023 at the Boathouse Studios in Barking . Currently I have 2 large Monet impressionist murals of my work on permanent display in their foyer. Come and visit.

This summer of 2023 I painted places where my holidays took me and my partner. We found ourselves in the early part of the summer on the Daventry canals imbibing the country air and managing not to race but keep a meandering pace on the ever crowded touristic waterway. Later in the year we spent time in Broadstairs and managed to arrive on the best day of the year to enjoy the seaside. I haven’t seen the sea so happy and resplendent.

I hope to continue with painting works along the Barking riverside this summer again.
