Over 25 years ago I trained to be a children’s illustrator and went on to work for several well known publishers, my style was humorous pen & ink drawings with a watercolour wash and later on using Procreate on my iPad.
After several years I started to develop a more realistic style using acrylics, oils and watercolours to produce more realistic paintings of cows, stags and hares that I would sell locally in Sussex through pubs and restaurants.
Alongside the acrylic animal pictures I would paint landscapes and cityscapes in watercolours and started to enter art competitions to improve my practice and reach a wider audience.
In the last few years I have been lucky enough to achieve a good level of success exhibiting in London at The Mall Gallery and The OXO Tower.
