This view is looking towards the mainland from the Isle of Skye in the early evening. I half closed my eyes to simplify the scene and so capture the calm feeling that I felt. I was in awe of this wondrous natural beauty. I worked on canvas using thin layers of Acrylic paint to build up the colours.
