Beverley Watts

I am an artist living in Reading. I studied a Foundation course at Ealing College and obtained a B A in Fine Art at Stourbridge College in the West Midlands.
I am fascinated by water; it is the reflective qualities and a sense of space and freedom which I find so enticing. I love to be near the sea, rivers or lakes and I have a particular obsession with the waters of Loch Ness particularly early in the morning or evening. Japanese water gardens are another love of mine, throughout the seasons, with their ever-changing colours.
I mainly work in Watercolour and Acrylic, sometimes Oil or Pastel. I have also experimented with tissue paper to add different textures to my work.
