I made this by joining lengths of lining paper into one giant piece; I pinned it to the wall of my studio because it was too big for the floor.
The piece was loosely inspired by my sister and developed into another woman entirley who likes to pretend she lives in a different world than the poverty stricken one she was born into , it’s almost Christmas in the early 60s and she’s in the bathroom getting ready for a night out.
