Watercolour on 140 lb handmade paper, mounted only.
A depiction of a room rented for an early start using the train from a provincial Spanish town to Paris. After a strenuous journey over 7 weeks walking East to West over the Pyrenees, this industrial location came as a shock but nevertheless fatigue ensured a peaceful sleep that night.
