I like to experiment and I also like to recycle what I can. The subject of this piece is actually a collage made up from offcuts of canvas, the background, by contrast, is painted with brushes in the usual way. This does make the seagull seem to pop off the canvas when viewed from a few feet away. Frame is custom made from recycled materials painted in a manner to reflect the artwork. More detailed pictures can be supplied by request. All my paintings are original, signed and have a certificate of authenticity and remain unique as I never produce prints from them.
