Julian Wright

I am a Member of the Torbay Guild of Artists, Devon Art Society and Devon Artists Network. I have the luxury of creating what I like and interests me, and I love to experiment. I mainly paint in acrylics, sometimes oil, also 'mixed' media. I sometimes create 3D pieces out of discarded and recycled material when I have enough items to do so. I have won local awards. My only consistency is my inconsistency. I have painted in a number of styles using a variety of items such as kitchen implements, wire wool, scouring pads or sometimes anything that comes close to hand. Oh, I do paint a lot with brushes (more consistency) and my hands (more fun).
Every work is a one-off as I never create prints, although I do create greetings cards to sell at exhibitions (to offset hanging fees).
