In January 2010 there was heavy snowfall in the south of England. Visiting St.Albans park in Hertfordshire, the waterfowl in the park were unable to use the lake as it was frozen solid, however, the running stream that went through the park was obviously not frozen over, and so all the birds congregated there. These two geese seemed to pose for me and so made a wonderful composition for a watercolour painting. The painting is mounted and framed. Prints and cards also available.
