After retiring ten years ago I decided to take up painting. I work in oil on canvas. I am primarily influenced by the impressionists and Vincent Van Gogh. Since retiring I've moved to Brighton, East Sussex with my family and love to paint the landscape around Brighton. I’m particularly inspired by the atmosphere of the city streets, the north laines, the people, the markets, the cafes and the vibrant colours.
