If someone is as passionate about coffee as I am, they will understand the meaning of this painting. Having spent a few years in Italy where coffee is almost the cult drink, I came to appreciate it even more. In this painting I used the antique objects representing the old fashioned way that coffee used to be brewed and still is occasionally in some traditional households but also there is a little pot for making Turkish style coffee which is my other favourite. The painting celebrates all kinds of coffee.
