Camellias are also known As Dream Roses and Japanese Roses. They are stunning with their red tones and shiny green leaves. Camelias sing out their colour from behind my willow tree, so I brought a few inside to paint their glory in a ceramic vase. Playing with a dance of light on the vase and splendid greens to lift the mood I have created an intimate scene of a trophy of summer..... golden moments of precious flowers.
