With a palette of warm pinks and a contrast of cool blue, this painting of Whitby is refeshing and inspiring and has a splash of gold and yellow forjoyful sunset colours. The compostion of the boats and shops and cranes and masts are in a musical harmony huddle, creating interest and a sense of happiness. It is a beautiful picture to look at again and again with it's hazy pinks which bring warmth and lifts the spirits.
