Dr Rosemary T McAuley

I studied Fine Art at Edinburgh College of Art/University before changing to complete an MA (hons) in History of Art . In 2015 I graduated with a Master of Theology (research). I recently gained a PhD researching 'The Christian Art of William Hole (1846-1917)'. I am a qualified art teacher and have taught in primary and secondary schools. I have 5 books of mystical poetry and a children's book. 'The Magic is True' (Alba Publishing). My art often reflects my interest in Christian mysticism/religion, as well as conventional genres. I completed a painting 'Live Little Bird' for the Archdiocese of Glasgow's 'Mungo in our Midst Exhibition' 2018. My painting of 'St Matthew' is installed in St Matthew's Church, Bishopbriggs.
