Pål Skotheim

I live in the beautiful part of Western Norway, called Lysekloster, not far from Bergen. The landscape in western Norway in particular and in Norway in general is quite varied, from agricultural land to heaths, mountains to the coast, a lot to inspire.

My background is a master's in chemistry and my field of work has been industry on land and offshore for more than 35 years, but after I retired I have returned to painting and drawing. I have painting and drawing as an important part of my leisure activities, I live on a small farm whith my wife, have some chickens, grow berries, brew my own beer and keep my head and body active.
Has always been interested in art and is most interested in nature and landscape, animals and still lifes, but also portraits occasionally.
