6th (and last) for 2016. It was a splendid day at a glorious place, one of those days when the weather was as fine at the end as it had been when I started the oil sketch. There was a chilly Autumn breeze, but thankfully it eased a bit over the 4 hrs I worked on this portrait of Langdale Pikes from Little Langdale.
