Well, I'm running a bit late this year, what with the chilly, windy Spring & early June, but the Cumbrian summer seems to be here at last. This painting was made at Ullswater between 3.30 and 7.00pm, 11/6/15. It was a wide vista, & was a bit of a handful I must admit, but I'm quite pleased with the sketch. This particular photo has been used to accompany a Wordsworth poem in a newly published book of some of his best loved verses.
