The "Seals & Seabirds" sea-trip from Lerwick is a great wildlife watching expedition. The boat passes beneath the magnificent cliffs of Noss, which are are home to countless nesting gannets in Summer. With this painting, I have tried departing from the "canvas in a frame" formula, and have made a sort of banner, or wall-hanging. The first photo of this painting which I posted was taken before I had added the foreground gannets, so here they are!
