The 8th of June 2013 was a warm, humid day, ideal for making a plain air oil sketch, as I did in about 3 hours. I hope to return to the Underskiddaw area next Spring/Summer, as I'm sure there are more paintings in it! The shapely Catbells is seen behind the large oak on the right.
