Get your fresh paintings here! Made yesterday in a Cumbrian field, the clement weather was very welcome while I made this oil sketch in about 3 hours. The hawthorn blossom has been making a fine show this year, and contributed well to the hedgerow crossing the picture in the middle distance.The sky was cloudless, but I was able to add the moon towards the end of the session.
