I am an illustrator recently graduated from UCA Maidstone.
Drawing has been an important part of my life as far back as I can remember...
I like my artwork to have distinctive colour and texture. Creative writing and using text within images is something I am increasingly interested in.I use a lot of ink and pastels, mixed media and I have recently started incorporating photos into my images which is a process I?m really enjoying.
Journeys and the importance of place are recurring themes in projects. I constantly record thoughts and experiences in my journal so I can gain inspiration from as many different sources as possible.
I like my drawings best when they are quickly and impulsively produced.
