Nadine Carey

I’m Nadine, a Somerset based artist who rediscovered my love of art during the 2020 pandemic. I specialise in coloured pencil / pastel animal portraits , graphite pencil portraits and now added acrylic paintings to my portfolio.

Having studied Art at ‘O’ and ‘A’Level, I went on to study graphic design followed by a BEd honours degree in Art for 3-9 yr olds. My career path however took a very different path Into the world of Policing in which I am now retired and focus on my art
I know how precious our pets are and honoured to produce a much cherished drawing.

I use different mediums, such as coloured pencils, pan pastels, pastel pencil and graphite pencil. Drawings are produced on pastelmat paper.
I also paint in acrylics on canvas whether it’s your beloved pet or abstract
