A silhouette of the Palace of Westminster from across the Thames in low light. The only light visible below the sky is the reflection in the swift running Thames. I restricted the light to give a sense of looming power to the whole piece. Quite powerful for a small painting.The lowering sun lends huge contrast and form to the evening clouds.
