Still life study of a heavy glass fruit bowl/vase on a reflective surface. The vase is set against a dark background which throws the glass edges into stark contrast allowing me a clearer exploration of the nature of the light as it strikes the container. This also contrasts sharply with the less defined but equally sharp distortion of the fruit colour within.
