This crocodile head is placed in the street at the entrance to Mardi Gras World in the suburbs of New Orleans. Mardi Gras World is a collection of old Mardi Gras floats left over from the Carnival held in May that is kept in a huge hanger-like building. I hope that it is still there as there was a lot of damage in this area from Hurricane Katrina.
