Margaret Borthwick

Semi=retired from general medical practice sixteen years ago and rekindled my love of art. A sharp learning curve followed , joining a local art club, attending classes at the University of Strathclyde life long learning and Glasgow Art School. Nine years ago I embarked on a Painting degree course with the Open College of the Arts. This is the distance learning section of the University of Creative Arts . I have found the last years exciting, challenging and demanding and am now due to commence the last section which encourages me to sustain my artistic practice and includes organising a degree show. It is never too late to follow your dreams !!
